IT’S 2K19!!!!!!!!!

The New Year is here, I am so thankful that I made it to see another year. 2018 was full of so many life changing events for me, so many happy moments, some sad moments, there were moments when I felt low and some when I felt high, there were times I wanted to just give it all up and some where giving up was the last thing I could even think of. I lost my maternal grandma in 2018 exactly 1 year to the day that I had lost my paternal grandma, that was rough. I saw new life come into this world, that was beautiful. I witnessed couples become one, that was love. I tried new things, took a hike to a waterfall, started a business, got my daughter into creating, took my 6 month old on a plane, celebrated with friends and family, volunteered helping others, gave back to the community, made people smile and laugh, lost over 30 lbs., met new people, looked into my family history, connected with loved ones and just made the best of my year.

In 2019, I look forward to growth. The thing is, even though this is a New Year, the grind does not change. Yes, I look forward to growth, but I always look forward to that. A New Year is just a way to keep my chapters separated by date. I can set goals, and resolutions but they are more for this lifetime I’m living in. I do enjoy the celebration though, it’s like a milestone; another year in the books. So for 2019, I’m expecting the unexpected and looking forward to it.
