Starting Over Again… ACL Recovery + Weight Loss Journey… 17 Months Post Op…

Hey y’all, I know I’ve been gone for a while.

Life has truly been life-ing. Since my last post back in December 2024, I’ve been navigating job transitions, being in full mommy mode, wife mode, and family mode overall. Sometimes you have to step back, breathe, and give yourself the time to refocus and adjust to where life is taking you.

In that time, I turned 35, celebrated 10 beautiful years of marriage with my husband in September with a trip to Mexico, and spent a lot of time pouring into everyone around me. But now, it’s time to pour back into myself too.

Today marks the beginning of that reset.

I’m 17 months post ACL surgery, and this journey has had its ups and downs. My weight has fluctuated between 260 and 270, but I’m choosing to move forward with intention.

I’m officially back and documenting my wellness journey from workouts, to stair goals, to rebuilding my strength and confidence.

Today I completed my first stair challenge, going from floor 1 (1.5 really) to floor 6, as I work toward my goal of climbing all 20 floors nonstop by my 18-month post-op mark. And yes, I’m talking about real stairs, flights and heights lol. I work in a skyscraper with 20 floors.

I’m also back in the groove of exercising and following a workout plan alongside this challenge, with my first milestone goal being 215 pounds, and ultimately 185 pounds.

This isn’t just about weight loss.
This is about healing, discipline, consistency, and becoming the best version of myself.

Thank you for being here with me as I start this new chapter.

Day 1 starts now. 💪🏽✨

Here’s my Video from today that I posted ok TikTok.
